Painted Shoes

For these shoes I wanted to try something fun and new. I had always seen people with fun and interesting shoes, and it was something I wanted to try. I began by painting a layer of white acrylic paint over the section of the shoe I planned on designing. I then drew on the pattern with pencil. I decided to go with a nature mountain design and used monochromatic blue for the color scheme. I felt starting from an almost black blue to an almost white blue gave the painting depth.
